It could be used to puzzle stack, for size sorting activities, making tunnels, balancing weights + building, as houses/mountains/icebergs/ caves/rocks/islands in small word play, to build Wood Folk or gnome homes, for car play ~ the possibilities are endless!
Handmade in Byron Bay from sustainably and ethically sourced Australian grown Paulownia, the Boho Rainbow Stacker has been cut by hand and sanded soft on all edges.
Paulownia is a lightweight hardwood, making it perfect for little hands to construct + build, with less force when creations tumble! As with all of the Zephyr's Nest products, we hope to inspire a connection to nature through play, creating products inspired by nature from natural, earth kind materials.
As the stacker is handmade from natural materials, each is unique + varies slightly in colour, size + grain. This can include knots in the grain, which is not something we see as a defect, but as a testament to the beauty + variety found in nature.
These stackers are raw with no sealant to keep the beautiful natural light blonde Paulownia grain. We’ve found this to be durable enough although the timber can stain if it gets marked or wet. A simple Coconut oil/Beeswax blend is all that is needed as a sealant!
